Participating in a rural rotation is more than just a great learning opportunity; it is a real experience that includes community lifestyle, culture and local outdoor pursuits.
Rotation funding is available to provide assistance for accommodation and travel costs. Criteria for funding: Family medicine resident rotations* must be a minimum of four months and specialty resident rotations must be a minimum of one month. Applications must be made through the ROMP office.
*Family medicine residents doing a specialty elective are not eligible for funding unless they have completed 4 months of family medicine in a ROMP community.
