Medical Students and Clerks

Looking for a unique educational experience?

ROMP works independently to provide broad learning experiences to medical students and clerks by working with hospitals and communities to match learners with dedicated preceptors in south central Ontario.

ROMP provides medical students and clerks with administrative support in arranging summer and scheduled electives as well as funded rotations for clerks to participate in a rotation outside of the acedemic centre.

Important – All applications for student rotations must be submitted at least one month prior to the rotation start date. Applications for specialty rotations must be submitted no later than six weeks before the start date.  Students and clerks are asked to find their own preceptor if electives are less than four weeks in duration, though ROMP can offer assistance. Credentialing and hospital privileges will be secured through ROMP for all rotations, which is why it is important to submit your application promptly for any rotation within south central Ontario.
