Health Professionals Recruitment Tour
September 17th - 21st, 2006
The Health Professionals Recruitment Tour (HPRT) is an annual recruitment activity that provides underserviced communities from Ontario with an opportunity to promote lifestyle, educational and employment opportunities to health care professionals in the medical and rehabilitation fields. The Tour, held in the fall of each year, visits all five of the provinces Academic Health Science Centres.

Ontario's northern and rural communities invite: Physicians, Physician Specialists, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Audiologists and Chiropodists.
To discover what underserviced areas have to offer: Representatives from approximately 90 communities and organizations will be present and you are invited to meet with them to discuss career and lifestyle opportunities. The Tour is co-sponsored by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and Northern Development and Mines.
